Turtle is a 2020 North Pacific 45 (hull #12). She’s a substantial upgrade from our much-loved Bayliner and was delivered on June 19, 2020. The default specifications are here.

Customizations
- Swap water tanks to fuel tanks, bringing the total fuel capacity to ~700 gallons.
- Move water to single 235 gal. tank in the bilge.
- Add an extra battery to the house bank for 600Ah total.
- Added a remote and battery monitor to the house bank.
- Add three 145W solar panels and charge controller.
- Replace wooden blinds with combination cell shades.
- Add five-zone hydronic heat with instant hot water and defrost.
- Booth option for main salon seating.
- Removable cabinet between chairs in salon for couch option.
- Propane stove (instead of electric)
- Add AA150 chain counter.
- Add Side Power SE130 24V stern thruster.
- Add 6′ L bunk to kids’ stateroom.

- Remove cockpit-to-upper-deck ladder (ships loose with boat). Makes room for sideways dinghy mount.

- Upgrade electronics to Garmin 8000 series.
